WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended a Cooperative Agreement with the National Center for Fathering, a copy of which is attached hereto, to continue to provide fathering training classes and one-on-one mentoring sessions to participants in the Jackson County Drug Court, at a cost not to exceed $24,880.00 for the period of April 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Cooperative Agreement with the National Center for Fathering; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on this Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
