Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 22255 dated April 29, 2026, the Legislature passed legislation regarding an agreement with the State of Missouri for parking spaces at a County owned parking garage located at 14th and Locust; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri needs an additional twenty (20) parking spaces in the parking garage located at 14th and Locust; and,
WHEREAS, an addendum is necessary to accommodate the additional parking spaces that are needed; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri will pay the County a fee of $14,400.00 annually for the additional spaces, which will be tendered upon execution of a lease agreement addendum; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached lease agreement addendum with the State of Missouri on behalf of the County.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
