WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation and Sheriff's Departments have a continuing need for fuel-dispensing equipment, parts, and related services; and,
WHEREAS, a total of thirteen (13) solicitations were distributed and two (2) responses were received under Electronic Solicitation No. BB200493. The following two (2) bids were received:

P.B. Hoidale, Inc. $61.00 per hour
Overland Park, KS
; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of twelve (12) month term and supply contracts for the furnishing of fuel dispensing equipment, parts, and related services for use by the Parks and Recreation Department and the Sheriff's Department to P.E.I. (Petroleum Equipment, Inc.) of Kansas City, MO and P.B. Hoidale, Inc., of Overland Park, KS, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200493 as the best and lowest bidders; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to P.E.I. of Kansas City, MO and P.B. Hoidale, Inc., of Overland Park, KS , and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments, to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
