Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 13330, dated August 28, 2000, the Legislature authorized a contract with QueTel of Washington, D.C., for the maintenance of the Corrections Department's computerized inmate tracking system, in the annual amount of $37,599.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Department is now in need of maintenance for its QueTel Scheduler software, which was not included in the previous maintenance agreement; and,
WHEREAS, to secure this additional support, the Purchasing Director has recommended an increase to the previous contract in the amount of $13,750.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments on the Agreement, as amended.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
