IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 20 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Loveland Acres," creating a 4-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2847, September 8, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: Legal Description: Description: A 20 ñ acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of Alley and Jackson Road and Adams Cemetery Road lying in All that part of the East One-Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 47, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 4; thence South 89 42'30" East, along the South line of said Southeast Quarter Section, a distance of 1329.81 feet, to the Southwest corner of the East One-Half of said Southeast Quarter Section, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 2 10'09" East, along the West line of the East One-Half of said Southeast Quarter Section, a distance of 655.93 feet; thence South 89 42'30" East, a distance of 1328.54 feet, to a point on the East line of Southeast Quarter Section; thence South 2 03'30" West, along the East line of said Southeast Quarter Section, a distance of 655.89 feet, to the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 4; thence North 89 42'30" West, along the South line of said Southeast Quarter Section, a distance of 1329.81 feet, to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Loveland Acres," creating a 4-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Gene Loveland (RZ-98-117), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 20, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
