IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE appropriating $132,990.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund to cover the Substance Abuse Traffic Offender's Program Grant received from the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and transfer of local match. Intro ORDINANCE #2692, June 30, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a grant in the amount of $132,990 from the Missouri Department of Mental Health to fund the County's Substance Abuse Traffic Offender's (SATOP) Program; and, WHEREAS, this grant is subject to a $34,667 local match; and, WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund is necessary to place the grant and matching funds in the proper accounts; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund: DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO Prosecuting Attorney Grant Match Grant Match $34,667 Increase Revenue 132,990 Unappropriated Surplus $132,990 Unappropriated Surplus 132,990 SATOP Grant Regular Salaries $124,072 F.I.C.A.
