IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 87 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Rock Ledge Estates," creating a 16-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2922, June 14, 1999 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: Legal Description: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said Quarter Section, Thence along the North Line of said Quarter Section South 87 degrees 19 minutes 43 seconds East 795.93 feet to the most Northeasterly Corner of a tract of land deeded to Tusifolau and Vennie Atagi Jr., said point being the True Point of Beginning, Thence continuing South 87 degrees, 19 minutes 43 seconds East 837.53 feet to the Northwest Corner of a tract of land deeded to Henry and Jane A Semrau, Thence along the West Line of the aforementioned tract South 02 degrees 07 minutes 56 seconds West 1319.72 feet to the Southwest Corner of said tract, Thence along the South Line of said tract South 87 degrees 27 minutes 59 seconds East 330.19 feet to the Southeast Corner of said tract, Thence along the East Line of said tract North 02 degrees 07 minutes 56 seconds East 4.38 feet to the Southwest Corner of a tract of land deeded to William L. and Brenda D. Wilson; thence along the South Line of the aforementioned tract North 89 degrees 15 minutes 08 seconds East 673.70 feet to a point on the East line of said Northwest Quarter; Thence along said Quarter Line South 02 degrees 07 minutes 56 seconds West 42.94 feet to the apex of a triangular piece of land deeded to Richard L. and Robin Sutcliffe, Jr., Thence along the West Line of the aforementioned tract of South 09 degrees 00 minutes 21 seconds West 1326.09 feet to the South Line of said Quarter; Thence along said Quarter Line North 87 degrees 35 minutes 46 seconds West 1671.96 feet to the Southeast Corner of a tract of land deeded to Michael A. and Beverly A. Ballentine, Thence along the East Line of the aforementioned tract North 25 degrees 56 minutes 22 seconds East 705.07 feet to the Northeast Corner of said tract, Thence along the North Line of said tract North 87 degrees 34 minutes 12 seconds West 1058.87 feet to the Easterly Right of Way of Missouri State Route F, Thence along said Right of Way North 02 degrees 12 minutes 01 seconds East 366.30 feet to the Southwest Corner of the aforementioned Atagi tract, Thence along the South Line of said Atagi tr act South 87 degrees 35 minutes 39 seconds East 648.10 feet to the Southeast Corner of said tract; Thence along the East line of said tract North 02 degrees 12 minutes 01 seconds East 1101.68 feet; Thence continuing on said East Line North 14 degrees 22 minutes 32 seconds East 540.09 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Said tract contains 86.884 acres and is subject to all easements and restrictions of record. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Rock Ledge Estates," creating a 16-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Don Ballard (RZ-99-153), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, by a 3 to 2 vote, failed to recommend approval of this application in a public hearing on May 20, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
