Body
WHEREAS, section 137.115 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri (1994), requires the County Assessor, or his equivalent in Jackson County, the Director of Assessment of the Division of Finance, to submit a two-year assessment and equalization maintenance plan to the County Legislature of Jackson County on or before January 1, 1996; and,
WHEREAS, section 137.115 further requires approval of that plan by the County Legislature within thirty days of its submission; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Assessment has submitted a two-year plan in accordance with the requirements of section 137.115, and monies required for said plan have been appropriated by the County Legislature for deposit in the Assessment Fund; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the two- year assessment and equalization maintenance plan for 1996-97 submitted by the Director of Assessment of the Division of Finance is hereby approved as submitted.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
