Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals pursuant to Electronic Request for Proposals No. PP20073 for the conversion of microfilm for use by the Recorder of Deeds; and
WHEREAS, a total of nine (9) solicitations were distributed and two (2) responses were received and evaluated as follows:

Scanning America $28,500.00
Lawrence, KS
Casey Micrographics $44,200.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has recommended that award be made to Scanning America of Lawrence, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
