Public Works Committee Amendment May 2, 1994 IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 28-94 for the furnishing of ready mix concrete for use county-wide to Concrete Services of Harrisonville, MO, to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated amount of $10,265.00. Intro RESOLUTION 10243, March 21, 1994 INTRODUCED BY Mary Lou Smith, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 28-94 for a term and supply contract for the furnishing of ready mix concrete for use county-wide to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period; and, WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following: VENDOR BID Kerr Construction Paving Company $42.97 cu. yd. Kansas City, MO Concrete Services $44.33 cu. yd. Harrisonville, MO Courtney Concrete $46.00 cu. yd. Sugar Creek, MO and, WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Concrete Services of Harrisonville, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid in compliance w th the bid's specifications; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to he using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
