IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE approving a conditional use permit for the operation of a dog kennel as to a certain 25 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2706, August 4, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. A conditional use permit for ten years for the operation of a dog kennel, subject to the restrictions specified on the attached Request for Legislative Action, under the Unified Development Code, is hereby approved as to a certain tract of land described as follows: A 25 ñ acre tract of land generally located « mile north of County Line Road on the west side of Hamilton Road and more specifically, lying in the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 34, township 47, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri being herein described as; Commencing at the S.E. corner of said 1/4 1/4; also being the NE corner of LaDora-Acres , a subdivision of record in Jackson County, Missouri; thence N 89 55' 13" W on a Grid Bearing for a distance of 927.24 feet to the true point of beginning of the herein described tract; thence continuing N 89 55' 13" W for 390.70 feet to the SW corner of said 1/4 1/4; thence N 2 05' 09" E for 1323.29 feet to the NW corner of said 1/4 1/4; thence S 89 58' 12" E for 1320.45 feet to the NE corner of Said 1/4 1/4; thence S 2 09' 37" W in Hamilton Road for 592.25 feet; thence N 89 56' 43" W and departing said road for 555.60 feet; thence S 1 42' 54" W for 70 feet; thence N 89 56' 43" W for 374.18 feet, thence S 2 03' 00" W for 661.78 feet to the point of beginning, aka 15118 Hamilton Road. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Patricia Mann, (CU-97-023), requesting approval embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on July 17, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
