Body
WHEREAS, Public Water Supply District #15 ("District") has submitted a request for a permanent and temporary construction easements through a portion of Blue and Gray Park to permit the installation, operation and maintenance of a water line for service to District residents; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has determined that these easements will have no adverse effect on the Park; and,
WHEREAS, the granting of these easements is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Parks and Recreation and the District have negotiated and recommend the terms of easement agreements on each of the parcels within Blue and Gray Park in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the easements requested by Public Water Supply District # 15 be and hereby are approved and that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the agreements on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
