Body
WHEREAS, the Office of the Clerk of the County Legislature has a continuing need for appointment management software to provide a convenient online system for notary customers to schedule appointments; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.1 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing has determined that this software can be obtained from only one source, QLess Software of Pasadena, CA, to ensure compatibility with other County software and ease of maintenance; and,
WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for the needed appointment management software to QLess Software of Pasadena, CA, as a sole source purchase, at an actual cost to the County in the amount of $9,734.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
