IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 30 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Moreland Hills," creating a seven-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2778, February 2, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: Legal Description: Description: A 30 ñ acre tract of land is generally located 1/4 of a mile west of Shippy Road and adjacent on the west and north side with Moreland School Road and more specifically described as the east 30 acres of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Moreland Hills," creating a seven-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Gordon Braun (RZ-98-090), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on January 15, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
