BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
A 25.8 ± acre tract of land generally located 1/4 of a mile east of Twyman Road on the north side of Blue Mills Road and specifically described:
All that part of the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township 50, Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri as described in Document No. I-1279906 in Book I-2568, Page 2021, and further described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 14; thence South 87 degrees 52 minutes 46 seconds East along the North line of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 14 a distance of 1053.68 feet; thence South 02 degrees 23 minutes 12 seconds West a distance of 1061.01 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of Blue Mills Road; thence following seven courses all being along said right-of-way line of Blue Mills Road; thence South 89 degrees 01 minutes 57 seconds West a distance of 447.32 feet to a point of curve; thence along a curve to the left having a radius of 1521.73 feet on an arc distance of 127.15 feet; thence North 05 degrees 45 minutes 17 seconds West a distance of 5.00 feet; thence along a curve to the left having an initial tangent bearing of South 84 degrees 14 minutes 43 seconds West and a radius of 1526.73 feet an arc distance of 206.07 feet; thence South 13 degrees 29 minutes 18 seconds East a distance of 5.00 feet to a point on a curve having an initial tangent bearing of South 76 degrees 30 minutes 42 seconds East; thence along said curve to the left having a radius of 1521.73 feet and arc distance of 53.01 feet; thence South 74 degrees 30 minutes 57 seconds West a distance of 132.19 feet; thence leaving the Northerly right-of-way line of said Blue Mills Road and parallel to the West line of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 14, North 02 degrees 31 minutes 40 seconds East a distance of 428.65 feet; thence North 83 degrees 58 minutes 20 minutes West a distance of 106.50 feet to a point 568.43 feet North 02 degrees 31 minutes 40 seconds East of the Southwest corner of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 14; thence North 02 degrees 31 minutes 40 seconds East a distance of 758.26 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Richard Troutman (RZ-2001-233), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 17, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
