AN ORDINANCE appropriating $35,000.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2023 Prosecuting Attorney’s Delinquent Sales Tax Fund to cover the purchase of furniture and the disposal of surplus furniture items under an existing term and supply contract for use by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office desires to purchase replacement furniture and to dispose of surplus furniture using an existing term and supply vendor; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 21146, dated February 7, 2023, a term and supply contract was awarded to Office Products Alliance of Kansas City (Jackson County), MO under Invitation to Bid No. 109-22 for the furnishing of office furniture; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place funds available in the Undesignated fund balance of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Delinquent Sales Tax Fund in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2023 Prosecuting Attorney’s Delinquent Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
