IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to LI (Light Industrial), a certain 16.3 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Industrial Woods East," creating an eight-lot industrial subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2909, April 6, 1999 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the LI (Light Industrial) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District LI a tract of land described as follows: DESCRIPTION: A 16.3 ñ acre tract of land is generally located « of a mile east of Adams Dairy Parkway on the south side of U.S. Highway 40 and more specifically described as: All that part of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 49, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning 600 feet East of the Southwest corner of the North half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32 on the South line thereof: thence continuing East 2039.9 feet to the Southeast corner of the North half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32; thence North along the East line of said Southeast Quarter a distance of 571.7 feet to the Southerly Right-of-way of U.S. Highway No. 40; thence Southwesterly along said Southerly Right-of-way of U.S. Highway No. 40 to a point on said Right-of-way a distance of 603 feet East of the West line of the North half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32; thence South 422.1 feet to the Point of Beginning, except that part lying South of branch; and less and except property described in Document No. I-672550, and less and except property described in Document No. I-685727. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Industrial Woods East," creating an eight-lot industrial subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Eastside Development (RZ-98-124), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on March 18, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
