Body
WHEREAS, the Compliance Review Office requests the purchase of LCPtracker as a single software package contract for use monitoring non-profit supplemental funding grants; and,
WHEREAS, the software would be needed to monitor the submission in which contractors are able to submit weekly certified payrolls, apprentice letters, OSHA 10 cards and other documentation required by Chapter 19 of the Jackson County Code, providing a portal for communications and saves all records in a file for future use; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the funds needed for the required technology in the appropriate spending account; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.1 of the Jackson County Code, the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Compliance recommend the acquisition of an additional single software package monitoring from LCP Tracker of Orange, CA, as a sole source purchase; now therefore;
BE IT ORDAINED by the Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2026 General Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the contract be awarded as recommended by the Directors of Finance and Purchasing and Compliance, and that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and hereby is, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment, on the contract.

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
