Body
WHEREAS, Nellie M. Moore is the daughter of Charles and Jane McKinzy and sister of Charles, Herbert, and Deborah McKinzy; and,
 
WHEREAS, Nellie was hired as a legal secretary in the Paternity Unit of the Prosecuting Attorney's Family Support Division on March 23, 1981; and,
 
WHEREAS, Nellie has performed the duties of Secretary to the Assistant Director and was promoted to Investigator in 1983 and Paralegal in 1988; and,
 
WHEREAS, Nellie supervised the Administrative Establishment Unit and has worked in the Legal Unit; and,
 
WHEREAS, Nellie currently works as a Child Support Enforcement Technician II in the Enforcement Unit; and,
 
WHEREAS, Nellie served as a member of the Executive Board and Board of Directors of the Missouri Child Support Enforcement Association for six years holding the offices of Region Director, Secretary, and Vice President ; and,
 
WHEREAS, Nellie has participated in training through Penn Valley Community College, and the Kansas City, Regional Police Academy and has completed the paralegal program at Rockhurst University; and,
 
WHEREAS, Nellie's husband of 34 years, Donald, son Phillip and his wife Maria, seven grandchildren, Marrissa, Joseph, Garrett, Evan, Alijah, Janelle, and Kennedy, and great grandchildren Mia and Romeo, are very proud of her career and service; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates and extends best wishes to Nellie M. Moore for thirty years of dedicated and loyal service to the citizens and children of Jackson County.

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
