WHEREAS, the County Counselor recommends that he be authorized to execute Addendums to existing Legal Services Agreements with certain lawyers and law firms to provide legal services to the County in certain new and ongoing matters; and,
WHEREAS, the Lawyers and law firm for which Addendums are recommended, the services to be provided, and not to exceed amounts for services to be performed are as follows:

Gilmore Bell Bond Counsel $50,000.00
Kansas City, MO
Evans & Dixon Workers Compensation $7,000.00
Kansas City, MO
Total $57,000.00
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Counselor be and hereby is authorized to execute Legal Services Addendums to the existing Legal Services Agreements with the lawyers and/or law firms identified in this Resolution, for a term ending September 1, 2025 at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $57,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payments, on the Addendums.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
