BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
The 5.7 ± acres are generally located one-half mile north of U.S. highway 24 on the east side of Burnley Road and specifically described as part of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 50, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as:
Description: Commencing at the northwest corner of said northwest quarter southwest quarter; thence south 03̊34'01" west along the west line thereof 657.73 feet to the point of beginning; thence continue south 03̊34'01" west along said west line 442.40 feet; thence south 87̊11'44" east 210.00 feet; thence south 03̊34'01" west 210.00 feet to a point 24 feet north of the south line of said northwest quarter southwest quarter; thence south 87̊11'44" east along a lint 24 feet north of and parallel to said south line 267.87 feet; thence north 03̊34'01" east 652.20 feet; thence north 87̊11'44" west 477.87 feet to the point of beginning, containing 6.15 acres and being subject to right-of-way for Burnley Road along the west line.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ruth O'Hara Trust (RZ-2008-458), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on October 16, 2008, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
