IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette) a certain 12.5 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2703, August 4, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: The 12.5ñ acre tract of land is generally located 1/4ñ of a mile north of Pink Hill Road on the east side of Gardner Road and described as: All that part of Tract No. 1 as established by survey recorded as Document No. I-1056001 and being a part of the east half, fractional southwest quarter, Section 18, Township 49, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri being described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said fractional southwest quarter; thence north 01 degree, 33 minutes, 06 seconds east, along the east line of said fractional southwest quarter, 995.08 feet to the north line Pink Hill Farms, a subdivision in Jackson County; thence north 88 degrees, 20 minutes, 40 seconds west, along said north line, 178.54 feet to the true point of beginning of the tract to be described herein; thence north 88 degrees, 20 minutes, 40 seconds west, along said north line and its westerly prolongation, 1085.94 feet; thence south 87 degrees, 58 minutes, 35 seconds west, 53.33 feet to the west lien of the east half of said fractional southwest quarter; thence north 01 degree, 20 minutes, 01 second east, along said west line, 453.22 feet to the south line of Gardner Ridge , (Lots 1-5) as now platted and of record; thence south 88 degrees, 19 minutes, 01 second east, along the said south line of Gardner Ridge , 1080.90 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 5, said subdivision; thence north 01 degree, 33 minutes, 06 seconds east, along the east line of said Lot 5 to the north line of the south half of the northeast quarter of the fractional southwest quarter of said section 18; thence south 88 degrees, 19 minutes, 01 second east, along said north line, 60.00 feet; thence south 01 degree, 33 minutes, 06 seconds west, parallel with the east line of said fractional southwest quarter, 991.24 feet to the true point of beginning of this description. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Stephen Richards (RZ-97-071), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 17, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
