IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE approving a conditional use permit for the operation of a bed and breakfast inn, as to a certain 5 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2739, October 6, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. A conditional use permit for ten years for the operation of a bed and breakfast inn, subject to the restrictions specified on the attached Request for Legislative Action, under the Unified Development Code, is hereby approved as to a certain tract of land described as follows: Description: The 5 ñ acre tract is generally located 500 feet north of U.S. Highway 50 (Westbound lane) on the east side of Noel Road being all that part of the East one half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 15, Township 47, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri and specifically described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of the east one half of the southeast Quarter, said point lying 1324.94 feet South of the Northwest corner of said East one half, said point also being the Southwest corner of MILISSA ACRES, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 87 degrees 46 minutes 34 seconds East along the South line of MILISSA ACRES a distance of 677.68 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 1 MILISSA ACRES; thence continuing North 87 degrees 46 minutes 34 seconds East along the South line of MILISSA ACRES a distance of 238.00 feet; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes 26 seconds West a distance of 250.00 feet; thence South 87 degrees 46 minutes 34 seconds West a distance of 915.68 feet to a point on the West line of said East one half; thence North 00 degrees 04 minutes 26 seconds West along said East one half a distance of 250.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, Except the Westerly 20 feet thereof in Noel Road. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Lewis Bechtel, (CU-97-025), requesting approval embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on September 18, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
