BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. A conditional use permit is hereby granted for a period of twenty (20) years to continue operation of a Day Care Center for school age children at the Fire Prairie Middle School on a situs described as twenty-five (25) ± acres generally located north of US Highway 24 and east of Twyman Road and legally described as follow:
All that part of the west half of the northeast northwest quarter and east 5 acres more or less of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter lying in Section 24, Township 50, Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri a/k/a 24810 E US 24 Highway.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of the Fort Osage School District (CU-2005-187), and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, on March 17, 2005, held a public hearing and voted 5 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL for a twenty (20) year period, hereby adopts this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
