Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 12 ± acres are generally located at the southwest corner of Colbern Road and Munro Road and specifically described as:

 

Beginning at the Northwest Corner of the Southwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 48 North, Range 29 West, Jackson County, Missouri; thence South 89 degrees 21 minutes 25 seconds east (this bearing and all following bearings being State plane Grid North as established by R.T.K. GPS equipment, and referenced to Kansas City Metro Control Station JA-79), along the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 29, for a distance of 1321.13 feet to the Northeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 29; thence South 01 degrees 59 minutes 44 seconds West along the East line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 29, a distance of 428.77 feet, to the Southeast Corner of the North 13 acres of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 29; thence North 89 degrees 21 minutes 25 seconds West along the South line of said 13 acre tract 1321.02 feet to the West line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 29; thence North 01 degrees 58 minutes 33 seconds East along said West line 428.77 feet to the Point of Beginning, less and except that part in Colbern Road and except that part if any in Munro Road, aka 9712 S. Munro Road.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Dean and Eva Dickey (RZ-2004-340), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 20, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
