Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200246 for the furnishing of traffic signs for use by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only three responsive bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR
Allied Tube & Conduit
Blue Springs, MO
Missouri Vocational
Jefferson City, MO
Alpha Safety
Liberty, MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be made to Allied Tube & Conduit of Blue Springs, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
