WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposals No. 201-98 for the award of a license to provide concessions services at the Frank White, Jr., and 140th and Holmes Blue River Softball Complexes; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two proposals thereon the following:
BIDDER MONTHLY FEE
Mr. Steak No. 202 $3,925.00
Independence, MO
J. E. Gross Concessions $3,501.00
Blue Springs, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation has advised that award be made to Mr. Steak No. 202 of Independence, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the highest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a license to provide concessions services at the Frank White, Jr., and 140th and Holmes Blue River Softball Complexes is awarded to Mr. Steak No. 202 of Independence, Mo, for a monthly fee payable to the County in the amount of $3,925.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
