Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. PW-05-95 for improvements to Ryan Road, Project #2318; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest four bids thereon bids from the following:

Deco Construction $73,520.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Asphalt Plant Sales $73,869.05
Independence, MO
Tasco Construction $88,127.25
Pleasant Hill, MO
Industrial Excavating $94,564.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has recommended that award be made to Deco Construction of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that its is the lowest and best bid submitted; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Public Works, and that the Director of Public Works be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
