IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette) a certain 8.59 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2769, December 8, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: Description: A 8.59 ñ acre tract of land generally located one-half («) mile south of Stringtown Road on the west side of Knorpp Road lying in Part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 47, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: From the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 32, run thence North 2 degrees 10' 30" East along the East line thereof, 50.00 feet to the true point of beginning of the Tract to be described; thence North 89 degrees 57' 36" West parallel with the South line of said Northeast Quarter 660.00 feet; thence North 2 degrees 10' 30" east parallel with the East line of said Quarter Section, 567.05 feet; thence South 89 degrees 57' 45" East, 660.00 feet to a point on the East line of said Northeast Quarter of said Section 32' thence South 2 degrees 10' 30" West along said East line, 567.08 feet to the true point of beginning. Subject to the Right of Way of Knorpp Road and any existing easements. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Windle McPheeters (RZ-97-085), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on November 20, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
