WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposals No. 13-02 for the award of a license to provide concessions service at the Adair Park softball complex; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two proposals thereon the following:
BIDDER MONTHLY FEE
Ron and Karen Bridges $1,405.00
Independence, MO
J. E. Gross $1, 250.00
Blue Springs, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Ron and Karen Bridges of Independence, MO, for the reason that they have submitted the highest and best proposal; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a license to provide concessions services at the Adair Park softball complex is awarded to Ron and Karen Bridges of Independence, MO, for a monthly fee payable to the County in the amount of $1,405.00 for seven months; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
