Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4481, dated November 19, 2012, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of the 2012 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) in the amount of $208,000.00, received from the U. S. Department of Justice for the period of October 1, 2011, through September 30, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office has requested, and the U.S. Department of Justice has authorized, the reclassification of a staff position title from Violent Crime Offenders Crime Initiative Manager to Data and Information Analyst; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to complete the funding of this position; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2014 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
