Body
WHEREAS, in connection with a negotiated resolution of certain issues pending between the County and Local Union 42, International Association of Fire Fighters, the bargaining representative for a unit of County employees within the office of the Prosecuting Attorney, it is necessary that the salary ranges for these employees receive a modest upward adjustment; and,
 
WHEREAS, these modifications are in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
 
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:
 
Section A.        Enacting Clause.  Schedule IV to chapter 2, Jackson County Code, 1984, is hereby repealed and one new schedule enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as schedule IV, to read as follows:
