WHEREAS, the Sheriff’s Office has a need for three (3) 2026 Ford F-150 Police Responder vehicles for fleet replacement; and,
WHEREAS, the Sheriff and the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommend the award of the contracts for purchase of the vehicles to CFLR Auto, LLC, of Republic, MO, under the terms and conditions of State of Missouri Contract Numbers MC250182003 and Gary Crossley Ford, LLC of Kansas City, MO under the terms and conditions of State of Missouri Contract No. MC250182006, both existing competitively bid government contracts, at an actual total cost to the County in the amount of $145,431.00; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Sheriff and the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommend the awards under the existing competitively bid government contracts that will allow the County to take advantage of significant discounts offered to larger entities; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that awards be made under the existing competitively bid government contracts as recommended by the Sheriff and Interim Director Finance and Purchasing and that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the awards; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
