Body
WHEREAS, the Recorder of Deeds office has obtained competitive quotes for hardware and software necessary for a wireless inventory project for use by the Records Center; and,
WHEREAS, the Recorder of Deeds office has received as the lowest three bids thereon, bids from the following:

and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has reviewed the quotes and recommends that award be made to DCT Solutions Group of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the required funds into the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Recorder's Fee Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a contract be awarded to DCT Solutions Group, of Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $24,093.05, as the lowest and best bidder, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of this award; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
