IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with the City of Raytown for the purchase of one canine, training, and equipment for use by the Raytown Police Department in its fight against drugs in eastern Jackson County, at a cost to the County not to exceed $12,948.00. Intro RESOLUTION #12149, March 30, 1998 INTRODUCED BY Victor E. Callahan, Dennis Waits, and John C. Graham,County Legislators Body WHEREAS, the County recognizes the need to fight the war against drugs in eastern Jackson County; and, WHEREAS, the County and the City of Raytown desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereby the City of Raytown will purchase one canine, training, and equipment for use by the Raytown Police Department in its fight against drugs in eastern Jackson County; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement between Jackson County and the City of Raytown be, and is hereby approved, said agreement being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said agreement; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
