Body
WHEREAS, the County and Cudney, Ecord, McEnroe, and Mullane entered into an agreement dated May 3, 1996, for the position of Consultant to the County's Legislature, Administration, Prosecutor's Office, and COMBAT Commission, and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11311, dated June 3, 1996, the Legislature authorized the County Executive to enter into a First Addendum to Agreement at an increased cost to the County of $15,000.00; and ,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11531, dated December 31, 1996, the County Executive entered into a Second Addendum to Agreement at an increased cost to the County of $3,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11634, dated February 24, 1997, the County Executive entered into a Third Addendum to Agreement at an increased cost to the County of $15,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution 11803, dated June 23, 1997, the County Executive entered into a Fourth Addendum to Agreement at an increased cost to the County of $15,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the County and Cudney, Ecord, McEnroe, and Mullane now desire to enter into a Fifth Addendum to said agreement; a copy of which is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, Consultant shall continue to be paid the sum of $60.00 per hour, in an additional amount not to exceed $7,500.00, for a new total not to exceed $70,500.00 during the term of said agreement as extended; and,
WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 11, 1998, the COMBAT Commission recommended this increase; and,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is authorized to execute a Fifth Addendum to Agreement with Cudney, Ecord, McEnroe, and Mullane, a copy of which is attached hereto, as recommended by the COMBAT Commission; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the contract and all addenda thereto...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
