IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette) a certain 10 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2741, October 6, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: Description: The 10 ñ acre tract is generally located 1/4 ñ mile south of MO Route FF (Truman Road) on the west side of Ketterman Road and specifically described as follows. The South half of the East half of the Northeast quarter of Northwest quarter Section 17, Township 49 North of the Base Line, Range 29 west of the Fifth Principle Meridian, Jackson County, Missouri; being more particularly described as beginning at the Southeast corner of said Northeast quarter Northwest quarter, said POINT OF BEGINNING being South 02 degrees 26 minutes 18 seconds West 1322.07 feet from the Northeast corner of said Northwest quarter; Thence from the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING North 85 degrees 09 minutes 11 seconds West 664.77 feet along the South line of said quarter quarter to a half inch iron bar; Thence North 02 degrees 23 minutes 48 seconds East 661.69 feet to a half inch iron bar; Thence South 85 degrees 05 minutes 56 seconds East 665.28 feet to a half inch iron bar; Thence South 02 degrees 26 minutes 18 seconds West 661.04 feet along the East line of said Northeast quarter Northwest quarter to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 10.097 acres, subject to Ketterman Road right of way (approximately 20 feet ) off the East side and all easement of record. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Michael Schorr and Christopher Reding (RZ-97-079), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 18, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
