A RESOLUTION congratulating Aaron Nicholas Menichetti upon successfully completing all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout.

Body

WHEREAS, Oak Park High School graduate Aaron Nicholas Menichetti has successfully completed all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout, and will be recognized on November 8, 2009, at 12:30 p.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church; and,

 

WHEREAS, Aaron began scouting as a Cub Scout in Pack 4165; and,

 

WHEREAS, Aaron is currently a member of Troop 1165 and has held leadership positions of Patrol Leader and Instructor; and,

 

WHEREAS, for his Eagle Scout project, Aaron benefitted the Budd Park Christian Church Youth Center, where he refurbished a classroom; and,

 

WHEREAS, Aaron is a "Runner" in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say Boy Scout Honor Program, his tribal name is "Snarling Raccoon," and he has earned a total of 25 merit badges; and,

 

WHEREAS, Aaron's mother, Melissa, and his brother, David, join in Aaron's celebration of this honor; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Aaron Nicholas Menichetti upon successfully completing all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout, and extends well-deserved recognition for his contributions to the Jackson County community.

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
