AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain10 ± acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description: The 10 ± acres are approximately 4/10 of a mile south of Lone Jack-Lee's Summit Road on the east side of Gammon Road (south of new Alley-Jackson Road) and specifically described as:

 

A 10.00 Acre tract of land being described as Tract "A" being all that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 47 North, Range 30 West, as recorded in the Recorder of Deeds Office of Jackson County, Missouri, and more fully described as: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 47 North, Range 30 West, in Jackson County, Missouri;  thence North 02 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds East (this bearing and all following bearings being based on Grid North as established R.T.K. G.P.S. equipment as referenced to Kansas City Metro Control station JA-91), along the West line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 16, a distance of 790.80 feet; thence South 89 degrees 51 minutes 28 seconds East along the South Right of Way of Alley and Jackson Road as established by the recorded Plat of Country Summit Estates a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri, 530.37 feet to a point of curve having a radius of 280.00 feet; thence continuing along said Right of Way curving to the left an arc length of 41.08 feet; thence South 02 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds West along a line parallel with the West line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 16, a distance of 793.66 feet to a point on the South line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 16; thence North 89 degrees 52 minutes 29 seconds West along said South line 571.20 feet to the point of beginning.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Mike Bramble (RZ-2004-345), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on June 17, 2004, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
