IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from D (agricultural district) to LI (light industrial zoning district), a certain 2.5-acre + tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2472, October 23, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "D" agricultural district and the "LI" (light industrial zoning district) so that there will be transferred from District D to District LI a tract of land described as follows: The East Half of Lot 4 in Onawa Acres, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of George Ward (RZ-95-006), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on September 21, 1995, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
