Body
WHEREAS, Jackson County Parks and Recreation has been awarded a grant in the amount of $4,946.00, by the National Park Service for an archaeological survey of the Fort Osage National Historic Landmark; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2002 Grant Fund and a transfer of matching funds are necessary to cover the grant; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation and transfer; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the 2002 Grant Fund to cover the grant for an archaeological survey of the Fort Osage National Historic Landmark funded by the National Park Service and the transfer of matching funds:
