Body

WHEREAS, there is a continuing need by various County departments for the furnishing of carpentry and construction services; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 64-04 for the furnishing of carpentry and construction services for various County departments; and,

 

WHEREAS, a total of 170 Invitations to Bid were distributed and four (4) responses were received; and,

 

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bid by item from the following:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to Brunn-Ulmer Construction Co., of Kansas City, KS,  as the best and lowest bidder; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Brunn-Ulmer Construction Co., of Kansas City, KS, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
