Title

AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by rezoning a certain 6.25± acre tract from District AG (Agricultural) District RR (Residential Ranchette).

Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the “AG” (Agricultural) and "RR" (Residential Ranchette) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RR, 6.25± tract of land located at 2602 S. Dillingham Road in Jackson County, MO, legally described as follows:

Description: The North half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 49, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, except part in roads, and, Part of the East half of the West half of the West half of the South half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 10. Township 49, Range 30, Jackson County Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at a point 1027.12 feet North of the Southeast corner of the East half of the West half of the West half of the South half of the Southwest Quarter of said Sections 10; thence North 89 degrees 08 minutes 30 seconds West, 93.30 feet; thence South 670 feet; thence South 89 degrees 08 minutes 30 seconds East to a point of the East line of the West half of the West half of the South half of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 10; thence North 670 feet to the point of beginning.

 

 

 

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Todd and Angela Rock, (RZ-2024-686), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 8 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on November 21, 2024, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
