WHEREAS, the Jackson County Election Board has a need to purchase furniture, carpet, flooring, paint and fixtures for its office located at 215 N. Liberty in Independence, MO, using surplus funds from the 2014 budget; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the necessary funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2014 General Fund:
