Body
WHEREAS, the Collection Department has a need for services to post notices of foreclosure on properties in the Delinquent Land Tax Sales; and,
WHEREAS, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing issued Request for Proposals No. 26-014 for these services; and,
WHEREAS, a total of five hundred and seventeen (517) solicitations were distributed and two (2) responses were received, and evaluated:

Friend in the Business, LLC
Kansas City, MO
(Jackson County)
Revival KC, Inc
Kansas City, MO
(Jackson County)
and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 Jackson County Code, 1984, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for the furnishing of notice posting services for use by the Collection Department to Friend in the Business, LLC of Kansas City, MO, as it has submitted the overall best proposal, with an estimated usage of $50,000.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Interim Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
