AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10± acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of Burnley Road and Hanna Road and specifically described as:

 

The North 330.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 50, Range 30, lying in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 27; thence along the North line of said Quarter Quarter Section, South 87 degrees, 03 minutes, 08 seconds East, 1320 feet (deed = 1321.52 feet) to the Northeast corner thereof; thence along the East line of said Quarter Quarter Section, South 02 degrees, 13 minutes, 27 seconds West. 330.00 feet; thence parallel to and 330.00 feet South of the North line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 27, North 87 degrees, 03 minutes, 08 seconds West, 1321.55 feet (deed= 1322.70 feet) to a point on the West line thereof; thence along the West line of said Quarter Quarter Section, North 02 degrees, 23 minutes, 59 seconds East, 330.00 feet to the point of beginning, aka 923 N. Burnley Road.

 

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Jacob Denham (RZ-2002-261), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on April 18, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
