IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 37.7 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Dayton Hollow," creating a seven- lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2603, November 18, 1996 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: The 37.7 ñ acre tract of land is generally located at the northeast corner of Missouri Route F (Outer Belt Road) and Al Gossett Road, specifically described as follows: beginning at a point 1010.98 feet North of the SW Corner of the NW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 47, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri. Said point being on the west line of said NW 1/4 thence N 2 26' 31" E along said west line for 1010.98 feet; thence S 88 30' 21" E for a distance of 1187.19 feet; thence S 2 54" 06" W for 220.42 feet; thence S 89 13' 41" E for a distance of 554.36 feet; thence S 2 31' 46" W for 808.50 feet to a point in Al Gossett Road; thence S 89 30' 46" W along the traveled centerline of Al Gossett Road for 381.90 feet; thence N 37 29' 15" W continuing along said Road for 1356.74 feet to the point of beginning. Except that part in road. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Dayton Hollow," creating an seven-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of K. D. Carter Properties (RZ-96-043), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on October 24, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
