Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 130-98 for the printing and mailing of business personal and personal property declaration forms and envelopes for use by the Assessment Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon the following:

and,
WHEREAS a transfer within the 1998 Assessment Fund is necessary to cover the costs of printing of business personal property declaration forms and envelopes; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; and,
WHEREAS, the contract also requires the successful bidder to mail the forms, for which it will be reimbursed postage costs in the amount of $129,978.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 1998 Assessment Fund:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
