Intro ORDINANCE 2878, December 15, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: DESCRIPTION: A 30.5 ñ ACRE TRACT OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED WEST OF BUCKNER TARSNEY ROAD, NORTH OF COLBERN ROAD AND EAST OF LITCHFORD AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS: THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 48 NORTH OF THE BASE LINE, RANGE 30 WEST OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN JACKSON COUNTY MISSOURI. EXCEPT FOR A TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 27; THENCE ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID QUARTER SECTION S00-01-25E, 1323.90 FEET TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NW QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 27; THENCE ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID QUARTER QUARTER SECTION N89-58-34W, 50.00 FEET TO THE WESTERLY 50' ROW OF BUCKNER-TARSNEY ROAD; THENCE ALONG SAID ROW S00-01-25E, 703.24 FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE CONTINUING ALONG SAID ROW S00-001-25E, 500.00 FEET; THENCE S44-31-01W, 71.28 FEET TO THE NORTHERLY 50' ROW OF COLBERN ROAD; THENCE ALONG SAID ROW, S89-03-27W, 210.00 FEET; THENCE DEPARTING SAID ROW N00-01-25W, 549.97 FEET; THENCE N89-03-03E, 260 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING AND CONTAINING 3.25 ACRES, SUBJECT TO EASEMENTS AND ROW OF RECORD, IF ANY. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Crosstrail Estates," creating an eleven-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of James and Felicia Dodson (RZ-98-129), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on November 19, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
