IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute First Addenda to Agreements with The Salvation Army in the amount of $87,450.00 and Renaissance West in the amount of $77,550.00, for their social detoxification programs, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $165,000.00. Intro RESOLUTION #12273, June 29, 1998 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Jackson County COMBAT Commission was empowered by Ordinances 1771, 1795, and 1941 to make recommendations to the Legislature for the expenditure of Anti-Drug Sales Tax Funds for the purposes of treatment and rehabilitation of drug offenders; and, WHEREAS, the COMBAT Commission has carefully reviewed proposals from The Salvation Army and Renaissance West for continuation of their social detoxification programs; and, WHEREAS, it is appropriate that Addenda to Agreements for The Salvation Army and Renaissance West in the amounts of $87,450.00 and $77,550.00, respectively, be executed; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Addenda to Agreements with The Salvation Army and Renaissance West; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreements and the Addenda thereto...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
